This old building was originally built as the Midland Station Hotel, attached to the Belfast and Northern Counties Railway. It has changed name and hands over the years, eventually becoming an office building. Unfortunately, the Nazis and various terrorist explosions took their toll and development within the area too. It seems to be deteriorating at present. Probably the most notable guests to have stayed here were Laurel and Hardy. The pair stayed in the hotel in 1952 during what was probably their last ever UK tour at the time. Take a look at our footage from the location (see link below).
